Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist Course - Jakarta - June 2015

Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist Course - Jakarta -

June 2015

In June 2015, I was pleased to attend the Chartered International Institute of Security and Crisis Management training in Anti-Terrorism in Jakarta organised by Globale2C.

The trainers were first class and Indonesian presenters from the Indonesian counter-terrorism agencies including senior officers from Det 88, provided first hand experience in the Indonesia's work in countering radicalization and meeting the threat of terrorism head-on.

Chris Phillips provided a holistic overview and excellent guidance on anti-terrorism mitigation strategies, based on his many years of experience in the UK dealing with terrorism and ably supported by Gerard Lee who was graciously allowed to share his knowledge on improvised explosive devices.

I enjoyed the training and speaking with attendees from Indonesia who were most welcoming.

I am proud to have been assessed as having the required knowledge and skill sets to be Certified as an Anti-Terrorism Specialist.

Crime Prevention Workshops - 2014

Crime Prevention Workshops - 2014
I was pleased to support Neighbourhood Watch NT in developing and conducting a series of crime prevention workshops in Alice Springs, Katherine and Darwin.  These workshops formed the ground work for educating communities and individuals of how crime can target their communities and homes and simple means of deterring criminals and minimising the risk.
